The MixPay Shopify plugin can provide payment methods for merchants' Shopify stores. There are four steps in the deployment process:
1. Add the MixPay payment method.
2. Add MixPay private application.
3. Get the MixPay Shopify plugin.
4. Add the MixPay Shopify plugin.
The specific deployment process is as follows:
Add the MixPay payment method
This step can help merchants add the MixPay payment method on the order payment page.
Step 1: Log in to the merchant dashboard
Dashboard address: https://accounts.shopify.com/store-login
Step 2: After logging in, click "Settings" in the lower-left corner of the page.
Step 3: Click "Payments" -> "Add manual payment method" -> "Create custom payment method" on the pop-up page.
Step 4: Fill in the payment method information and click "Activate."
Step 5: After completing the activation, you can see the MixPay payment method just added under the "Payments" -> "Manual payment methods" column. Up to this step, we have completed adding the MixPay payment method.
Add MixPay private application.
The purpose of this step is to synchronize the payment status of the merchant's order through the private application.
Step 1: Create a private app,
Click "Apps" in the left navigation bar of the merchant backend page, and click "App and sales channel settings" in the pop-up box.
Click on "Develop apps for your store."
Click "Create an app," fill in the application name in the pop-up box, and complete the application creation.
Fill in "App name."
After you create the application, the following page is displayed.
Step 2: Configure permissions for the app to operate orders.
Click "Configuration" -> "Admin API integration" -> "Configure" in the application details.
After entering the configuration page, check the four order permissions in the figure below, and click Save.
Step 3: Generate a Shopify API Access Token and API Key.
Click on "Apps and sales channels" -> "API credentials" -> "Install app".
After the installation is complete, the following information will be displayed, and please save the "Admin API access token," "API key," and "API secret key" locally for backup.
Note: "Admin API access token" can only be viewed once, be sure to save it!
Step 4: Get the MixPay Shopify Plugin
1. Contact MixPay customer service at firstname.lastname@example.org.
2. Send the "Admin API access token," "API key," and "API secret key" obtained in step 3 to the customer service.
3. The customer service will provide the MixPay Shopify plugin program and save the program code locally for backup.
Add the MixPay Shopify Plugin
This step aims to call up the MixPay Shopify plugin on the order payment page to complete the order payment.
Step 1: Click "Settings" in the lower-left corner of the merchant's background page.
Step 2: Configure Custom Script.
After entering the setting page, click "Checkout," find the "Order status page" on the right page, and paste the MixPay Payment program code provided by the customer service into the "Additional scripts" text box in the figure below, and click Save.
Step 3: The merchant adds the MixPay robot as a contact in the Mixin wallet to receive the account receipt message.
After the merchant completes all the above steps, you complete the configuration of all MixPay payment plugins.

Enter the merchant's product details page and click the "buy it now" button.
Complete the delivery address and other information and go to the next step.
In the payment method section, select the MixPay payment method we just added.
After selecting the MixPay payment method, complete the order payment according to the following process.
Select the asset to be paid, choose Mixin as the payment method (you need to download the Mixin wallet first), transfer money on the chain, and click the Pay button to initiate payment.
After the user scans the QR code, you complete the payment process.
